Sleigh What!!!! Back for the 6th year, the only fully Welsh Christmas Beer Pack, containing 4 brand new beers, some familiar favourties and a return of some not featured for a while. 1 Bluestone Brewery – Blitzen 4.1% (Pembrokeshire)
This festive offering is a sessionable, light in colour, uniquely British hopped IPA. It combines subtle fruity and floral flavours with added yeast induced complexities.
2 Conwy Brewery – Hoppy Christmas 4.7%(Conwy)
An antidote to heavy christmas food and drink. A pale ale with a fresh hoppy aroma with herbal/lemony hops coming through in the finish.
3 Evan Evans – Ho Ho Ho 4.5% (Llandeilo)
A delicious warming red Christmas ale with a full hop character and a fruit, spice rounded finish.
4 Monty’s – Figgy Pud Christmas Ale 5.5% (Montgomery)
Heralding from the middle of the country in the historic market town of Montgomery, this award winning brewery is bringing you some Figgy Pudding. It’s a Christmas delight, all the flavours you would expect with cinnamon, mixed spice, maple syrup and orange. A lovely sweetness, something to savour over the festive period.
5 Rhymney Brewery – A Winter’s Ale 4.5% (Blaenavon)
A very limited edition release back by popular demand. Dark with lovely coffee and chocolate flavours make this a proper Winter ale.
6 Bang-On - Holibobs are coming 4.5% (Bridgend)
This year’s seasonal offering from Bridgend’s longest established brewery is a British brown ale with a playful twist. Coming in at a modest 4,5% this was inspired by a secret classic recipe. Sweet notes of cinnamon and cherry hidden in a refreshing British Brown Ale, guaranteed to get you in the Christmas spirit.
7 Untapped – Ember 5.2% (Raglan)
This winter favourite is a deeply rich brown colour. This old style ale has a baked chocolate biscuit nose, followed up by hugely flavourful yet balanced hop and malt textures, with hints of sweetness and spice. CAMRA Champion beer of Wales and Silver Champion Winter beer of Britain!
8 Purple Moose – Merry X Moose 5% (Porthmadog)
A strong winter ale brewed from Welsh mountain water and natural ingredients. Crystal Malt combined with aromatic hops creates a smooth, full-bodied, malty beer. The perfect accompaniment to an evening of Christmas cheer in front of a roaring open fire!
9 Glamorgan – Santa’s little belter 4.4% (Llantrisant)
Wales’ best selling Christmas Ale! Expect biscuit maltiness, winter berries and a hint of chocolate. Oh, and don't forget to leave one out for Santa on Christmas Eve.
10 Tudor – Winter Cheer 5% (Abertillery)
Winter Cheer is infused with cinnamon, honey, ginger, lemon rind and a secret blend of spice. This gives a subtle and unique flavour, certainly something to cheer about. Now gluten free and vegan friendly.
11 Dog’s Window – Santa Paws 6% (Bridgend)
Brewing out of a small unit in Bridgend, this brewery is making big waves in the industry with being one of the highest-rated Welsh breweries on popular beer rating App untappd.
It is dark and decadent and has a strong fruity flavour with a long lingering aftertaste, and at 6% abv it is the epitome of Christmas in a can of beer.
12 Dog’s Window & Wales Ales – Very Good Boy 5.8% (Bridgend)
Rounding off the box is a collaboration beer between Dog’s Window and Wales Ales. Good Boy is Wales Ales’ biggest seller and was originally a sessionable Tropical IPA at 4.5%. This special limited edition Christmas cracker has been wrapped up to 5.8%. Full of fruity flavours and punchy hops especially for you good boys & girls.
